Our wild harvested chaga mushroom tea powder is sustainably wild harvested from the pristine forests of Maine USA. Only wild harvested chaga grows the important black outer crust as it feeds on birch trees in the forests and is not cultivated on rice or wood shavings in a greenhouse. This raw chaga powder must be steeped in hot water to release the water-soluble benefits.
Inonotus Obliquus (Raw wild harvested whole chaga mushroom including outer black crust and birch bark fibers)
For tea: Using a tea strainer, add 1/4 teaspoon to one cup of very hot near boiling water and steep for 10-15 minutes. Using a large crockpot: Add 2-3 Tablespoons to water, set on low for 12-24 hours. May be stored in the refrigerator up to a week. May add your favorite flavoring if desired.
